Week 4 Match-up

This week the Quest take on Alamo City in what is bound to be an incredible match-up.  Alamo City is currently undefeated and the surprising Quest squad look to end that this weekend.  Both Teal Bunbury and Brek Shea return to the squad after the U.S. failed to advance in Olympic qualifying.

Tally Hall is out this week so the Quest have dropped Andrew Wenger from the line-up to pick-up Andy Gruenebaum to fill in this week.  "The Quest have had a promising start to the season and I hope to become a contributing member to this impressive squad", Gruenebaum said today at his signing.

Quest manager Jay Highland had this to say about facing a strong Alamo City team this week, "They have had a very strong start to their season and they have three of the best attacking players in the league in Henry, Hassli, and Kris Boyd.  We hope to contain their attack and pull three points this week."

 Chris Pontius
 Bobby Convey

Week 2 Line-up

Kansas City Quest S.C. manager, Jay Highland, has announced today that he will stick with the same line-up he field in the Week 1 victory.  "Our line-up last week exceded expectations and I fully expect a similar performance from our players in the second week of BSL competition.", Highland said today when submitting the line-up.

This week the Quest will take on Alliance F.C. who finished last season with a record 10 wins, 9 losses, and 2 ties.  The Alliance is in their second year of competition in BSL and did not make the playoffs last season.  The Alliance should provide tough competition for the Quest as they are lead by offensive play makers Dwayne DeRosario and Brian Ching along with veteran keeper Joe Cannon.

"We opened our inaugural BSL campaign strong and look to continue to surprise the league but we cannot be overconfident after our result in the first week.  The Alliance is going to be determined to post a victory after losing last week.", said Highland when talking about this week's match.

Please continue to support the Quest this week as they continue on their way to the BSL playoffs!

Quest Post Big Win in Opener!

Kansas City Quest SC opened their 2012 BSL campaign with a stunning 3-0 win over Burud Town in their first ever match.  Goalkeeeper Tally Hall proved his worth by picking up a clean sheet and late pick Kalif Alhassan picked up a goal and an assist.  Quest manager, Jay Highland, had this to say after the game, "Hall and Alhassan were two players we had our eye on from the beginning of the draft and they came through for us today.  We believe Alhassan might have been the best value of the entire draft.  He has a very high work rate that helps lead him to be one of the game's best creators and those skills were shown in the first week of competition."
